Equipment & Capabilities
The Scientific Glass Shop is equipped with specialized glass working equipment for the fabrication and repair of scientific glassware, including glass lathes, annealing kilns, precision cutting and grinding equipment, vacuum testing equipment, and tools for working with both borosilicate and fused quartz. This equipment is operated exclusively by the Scientific Glassblower and is not available for independent use.
