  • Fee for use of the analytical cytometers will be charged according to the information below:
    • BD Accuri C6
      • User-Operated: $30/hour
      • Staff-Operated: $50/hour
    • BD Fortessas
      • User-Operated: $60/hour
      • Staff-Operated: $75/hour
    • Cytek Aurora
      • User-Operated: $60/hour
      • Staff-Operated: $75/hour
  • The minimum charge increment is 15 minutes
  • Staff-Operated analysis must be scheduled with CF personnel ahead of time
  • Fees for non-University of Pittsburgh users can be obtained by contacting CF staff directly

Cell Sorters

  • Fee for use of the cell sorters will be charged according to the information below:
    • MoFlo Astrios
      • User-Operated: n/a
      • Staff-Operated: $85/hour
    • Sony MA900
      • User-Operated: $65/hour
      • Staff-Operated: $80/hour
  • The minimum charge increment is 30 minutes
  • Fees for non-University of Pittsburgh users can be obtained by contacting CF staff directly
  • There is a flat $36.50 decontamination fee for BSL2+ sorting.
  • There is a $35 consumable sorting chip fee for weekend use of the Sony MA900

Nanostring nCounter and Digital Spatial Profiler

  1. Rates for the Nanostring nCounter and Digital Spatial Profiler are dependent on the size and complexity of the experiment

Cancellations

There is no fee for cancellations made before the start of the appointment
If a user does not arrive for a scheduled appointment within 30 minutes of the start time, they will be charged for the full appointment and it will be removed from the schedule
