The Dietrich School of Arts & Sciences Mass Spectrometry Lab offers a comprehensive platform for determining molecular mass and elemental composition. The facility also conducts proteomic experiments for protein identification, characterization, and post-translational modification analysis.
We use a range of ionization techniques, including EI, CI, ESI, APCI, and MALDI, to analyze compounds from small volatile organics to large biomolecules such as proteins and peptides.
With six advanced instruments, our lab serves as a vital resource for researchers in chemistry, biology, and related disciplines.
