Reja Hoq is the Manager of the CryoEM Center. He completed his PhD in structural biology at Purdue University, West Lafayette IN, in 2023 and went on to a post as Senior Cryo-EM Research Specialist in the Electron Microscopy Core Facility at the University of Missouri. He joined Pitt in June 2026 bringing expertise in management of a cryoEM core and cryoEM methods such as single-particle cryoEM data collection and analysis, TEM grid surface fabrication and cryo affinity grids, as well as fib milling and imaging for cryoET.
