Julia Hart received her master's degree in 2010 from Duquesne University and brings over 15 years of experience working in histology, private, and academic research laboratories. She began her career providing consultation and training in materials science for pharmaceutical companies and the FDA. She has testified as an expert witness in both state and federal courts. Julia has used her materials science knowledge to consult on proper histological preparation of tissue samples containing medical devices. She is currently the supervisor of the McGowan Institute Histology Core Laboratory, which specializes in processing, embedding, and cutting for FFPE and frozen tissues; special staining techniques, and immunohistochemistry.
