Joshua J. Michel

A skilled research technician focused on the fidelity and quality of data, and with over 15 years of Flow Cytometry experience, Joshua Michel ensures the Rangos Flow Core produces high quality data and sorted specimens. He has first hand experience in coordination of sample collection, preparation, and staining of mouse and human samples for Flow Cytometry and Luminex assays. Blood and tissue protocols are numerous and ponderous, and he is always willing to discuss the details. Designing or changing multicolor Flow Cytometry staining panels can be difficult and may require craftiness and experience. He enjoys the challenge of new problems and responds with readiness to the level of detail required. Whether it be fluorescently labelled antibody staining, nuclear staining, metabolic stains, or cell sorting, he is ready to assist in the design, implementation, and measurement of analytes and antigens in various specimen types. His interests include data analysis and information science, and he is able to utilize a variety of platforms to assist in the production of diagrams and presentations of data.
