The Jasco P-2000 is an easy to use polarimeter for measuring the optical activity of compounds at specific wavelength, typically the sodium D-line at 589nm (other wavelengths are available). The instrument hasa resolution of 0.0001 degrees of rotation and a dynamic range of 0.001 to +/-90 degrees. The sample temperature can be controlled using a build-in Peltier device.
